Open Forum Nā Moʻolelo of Aunty Harriet Ne - October 11th

Join our live online class where you will hear Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki of Mana O Molokai sharing moʻolelo (stories), and teachings on Hawaiian Culture & Spirituality coming from a vast traditional Hawaiian knowledge base stemming from 50 generations.

Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki is sharing moʻolelo (stories) by Aunty Harriet Ne on the following Fridays:

  • Friday, October 11th, 9:00 -11:00 am: “Kaʻohele, the hero of Molokai”

  • Friday, October 18th, 9:00 -11:00 am: “The Birth of Kealaʻs Daughter”

  • Friday, October 25th, 9:00 -11:00 am: “Pueokea, the Owl Daughter”

Stories are taken from the first chapter "Tales of the Beginning" of the book Tales of Molokai, the voice of Harriet Ne. By Aunty Harriet Ne with Gloria L Cronin.

Open Forum takes place every other week on Wednesday at 1:00 pm HAST and Friday at 9:00 am Hawaiian Time.

All levels of learning are welcome.
