Hula Performance!

RVSP here to attend the HULA PERFORMANCE on July 27, 2024, at 9:30 am at Kaoini Beach Park

 

This is the first-ever live performance of our Hālau (school) Mana O Molokai and Hālau Hula Ka Makani Laukamani O Hālawa-Iki.

It is exclusively for residents of the Ahupuaʻa of Kawela since the Hālau is based in the same ahupuaʻa

The hula dancers are from the mainland US & Europe and are on Molokai for a 10-day Huaka’i (spiritual journey).

They learn Hawaiian traditions and culture via weekly Zoom classes with Kumu Pa’a Nui Lawrence Kalainia Kamani Aki and Kumu Pa’a-Hula Kyrian Van Vliet.
